Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr is officially President of the Philippines after an enormous parade and oath-taking ceremony yesterday in Manila. His inauguration speech wound me up quite a bit, so we’ll look deeper at it on Monday after I’ve had a bex and a lie-down, as they say.
