๐ต๐ญ Tensions simmer in SCS amid China's 'propaganda'
๐ฎ๐ฉ Second NasDem minister formally arrested on corruption charges
Hello friends!
Another long one today, with a lot happening across maritime Southeast Asia. The Philippines is reeling from the death of two OFWs in Israel, underscoring the graver danger migrant workers can be flung into while abroad. Indonesia is gripped by two cases โ one old and on Netflix and one new, spelling trouble for the NasDem party. Timor-Leste is still fending off criticism for its deal with China and Brunei is getting ready for a wedding for the ages.

Paul Vincent Castelvi, a 42-year-old caregiver, was also killed but little is known yet about his story.ย
